Travels in England

Today we’re getting ready for our 15-day tour of 6 British universities scattered all over England.  We’ll rent a car just across the street and then battle to get out of London (minding the one-way streets as well as those blocked off to protect embassies during these tricky times).  Once on the road, we’ll swing by Bath so Mike can take a quick look (I visited two years ago with the students) and head for Bristol on the west coast.  We’ll tour the university at Bristol on Tuesday, and then go to Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, York, and Southampton.  That takes us all around the country.  On weekends, we are sneaking in a trip north to Whitby and a ride through the Cotswalds.  So we'll have much to tell, upon return.
